Part of the new series ‘Ascension,’ this original abstract painting was inspired by the shifting perspectives that are uncovered during the transition into heavenly realms. Every stroke and mark is intentional and drawn from the scripture Revelation 21:1-5. This piece has a wide variety of shades of white, with moments of pink and metallic golds. The gold paint reflects light differently depending on the light source; please scroll through each photo to see the variations. The surface has a highly textured quality from the many layers of paint and gold leaf built up over time.
